Vintage "FRENCH" 1821 - Model M1845/55 - Chatellerault - Officer Sword

Up for Auction is a Antique "French" Officer's Sword.
Model: M 1845, maker "Chatellerault"
Straight, triple fullered blade (blade is in really good condition on both sides.
Wire is intact on the grip although slightly loose in a couple of spots
Measures 39 1/2" overall length. Blade measures 33 1/2"
Weigh's 845 grams
Several markings and engravings mainly on the blade (see photos)
Marked 18/21 on the blade ?
Has 2 marks right at the start of the blade and the one has a small star in a shield (see photo).
Very Good to Excellent condition. Solid and tight.
