    Description

    Original US model 1795 musket barrel of a good length even though it has been cut a couple inches short from the original. You can clearly see where the three original bands sat on the barrel so you can tell not much is cut off. Barrel length is 42 3/4" and the tang is a little over 2 1/2". It has a small added piece to the muzzle at the bottom which I believe is the remains of the bayonet lug or possibly an attached and subsequently removed ramrod pipe.
