Description
Up for auction:
this good quality British powder flask made by the famous Dixon & Sons
factories from Sheffield.
I could not find this flask in Riling`s book.
One face of the flask has a medallion with dead quail in a landscape.
A very unusual medallion which I could not find in the "medallion" section
nor in the "dead game" chapter.
The other face of the flask is plain.
All four suspension rings are present.
Charging unit has a outside spring and a 3-step nozzle.
The nozzle has been stamped:
DIXON & SONS
Total length included nozzle is 195 mm (7.68 Inches) - the width
"at the swell" is 85 mm (3.35 Inches).
Condition: VERY GOOD! No dents! Body has excellent seams.
Charger is in good working order with strong, nicely blued, spring.
I guess this is a rare one...!
Shipping times are much longer than eBay estimates.
I ask you to be patient as this is out of my hands.
The shipping costs will be valid for 3 – 4 normal items.
