    Here is a nice 18th century iron naval boarding pike head in good original condition. The iron surface has a nice patina with dark areas from age with a nicely shaped leaf spear point which can be seen in the photos. Reference = similar 18th century leaf shaped boarding pikes can be seen in the book "Boarders Away" by William Gilkerson. Originally from Leith docks, Edinburgh Scotland from a maritime naval collection. In total measuring 11.3 inches long. The leaf spear point measures 1.6 inches wide and 4.9 inches long.
