The leather wrapping is missing from the handle and the small metal piece is missing from the handle near the guard. The wooden handle also has a few small chips. The top of the scabbard is split at the seam near guard, and scabbard has some rust, dents, and dings as seen. Sword is tight and original with noted condition issues.
