Mameluke Sword or Shamshir - nice wall hanger repro- copy of USMC officer sword

Description

This is an attractive reproduction of a Mameluke sword - not unlike those used by British Generals and US Marine Corps NCO's (which tradition was inspired by that whole "shores of Tripoli" thing).
This is not a practical sword -- I wouldn't try sharpening it or trying any cutting.  It is good Toledo Spain tourist sword.  But it looks good on the wall and sets the right mood.  The good news is you won't have to leave one of your really good swords out to get this effect!
No distal taper.  No rust. No nicks or dings or scratches.  The faux-ivory scales on the grip are some type of plastic but look pretty good nonetheless.
The straight length from tip to tip is 36 inches and the blade length (measured in the curve) is 33 inches.
