    Description

    This is a nice example of a medium size French made Navaja style Folding Knife which dates from the mid to late 19th Century. It is mounted with a blade that measures 6 1/4 inches in length by 1 1/4 inches at the widest. The blade shows to have received cleanings throughout the years however does remain in good condition with the marker's mark "BEAUVOIR" that can still be made out although faded. The blade does continue to lock tightly into place. The bone and shell grips are nicely pinned and remain tight and sturdy and in beautiful condition with the exception of a chip to one of the bone panels.  Overall measuring in fully extended position 13 1/4 inches in length, in folded position 7 1/4 inches.
