    Dating from the mid to late 19th Century, this is a good example of a well made European Hunting Bowie Knife Dagger. It is mounted with a beautiful bright and frost etched clipped point blade that measures 7 3/16 inches in length by 1 1/16 inch at the widest. The blade remains in gorgeous condition with all of the lovely etching still wonderfully present. It wears a crossguard that is simple but tastefully designed and remains very tight and sturdy. The stag horn hilt is in very healthy condition as well and has a nice strong fit to the grip. The leather scabbard is nicely fitted and although the leather is a bit scuffed, remains healthy and with all the stitching still tightly intact. Overall measuring 12 5/8 inches in length.
