    You are bidding on an 1859 French Italian Campaign Commemorative Medal. The medal is used and is in good condition with some signs of wear and age. The medal was suspended from a 36mm
    (
    1.42” inches) wide ribbon, with six 4mm (0.16” inches) wide red stripes and five 2mm (0.078” inches) wide white stripes

    The French Commemorative Medal of the 1859 Italian Campaign was a French commemorative medal established on 11 August 1959 by Napoleon III following the French military campaign in
    Italy
